Love the product and the support is just as great!

I regularly work on SEO for my own companies and have a few client websites to work on, so it made sense to me to check out Semdash instead of paying monthly for similar tools like Semrush that look and function very similarly. I love using it for getting deeper insights on keyword research and saving keyword lists to refer back to with clients. Just started testing out the OpenAI integration for the Copilot responses but seems to be helpful as well for picking through key data, especially when helping clients in fields you're not as familiar with. The people also ask and people also search features work great for generating blog post ideas or topics for YouTube videos to rank. I think above all, the support has been fantastic. I had an issue getting my credits to reset properly at first but the team was always very responsive and helped me to get it sorted out.

Legit Tool

I've been a professional SEO consultant and web developer since '94, and I've used just about every tool out there. Semdash impressed me with the quality of its data and the value at the lifetime price. Compared to my go-to Ahrefs, plus SE Ranking and Serpstat (both improved a lot since their early days), it holds its own. Keyword research pulled 991 terms vs Ahrefs' 6k, but it nailed most of the important ones—solid B rating there. Backlink data was surprisingly strong at 28k vs Ahrefs' 36k, outperforming Serpstat and matching SE Ranking. Clustering is limited to 200 keywords, so not ideal for large projects, but fine for smaller sites. I haven't tried the Search Console integration or SERP checker yet, but even without them, there's plenty of value here. No one tool does it all, but Semdash gives you legit keyword and backlink tools in one. For a lifetime deal, it's a no-brainer—stack it and enjoy.

Just a quick note on the "991 keywords against Ahrefs' 6k" comparison — you probably used the Keyword Discovery tool, not the Long Tail search. Correct me if I'm wrong. Ahrefs combines all keyword types into a single tool, but Semdash separates them across four tools, each with its own strategy. Keyword Discovery is similar to Google Keyword Planner and typically returns around 1,000 results. Long Tail Keywords offers significantly more data and allows you to customize searches using exact or phrase match. Then you have "People Also Search For", which pulls keyword ideas from the bottom of the SERP, and "People Also Ask", which scrapes question-based search intent from Google. Another important distinction: Semdash has a default filter enabled to remove synonyms or near-duplicate keywords (e.g., "marketing platform" vs "marketing platforms"). You can manually turn this off to see more keywords, but they may just be variants. This filtering isn't something I've seen on Semrush, which inflates counts with duplicates. So if you only searched one endpoint, that might explain the lower count — try the other tools and I think you'll find Semdash actually returns more than Ahrefs. On backlinks, I'm publishing a paper on this soon. The key difference is that Semdash reports only live backlinks and removes lost or dead ones after 6 months. Semrush and Ahrefs retain dead links for up to 3 years, which inflates their backlink databases with outdated data. A better comparison would be live backlink counts — and that's where Semdash really shines. Regarding keyword clustering, you're absolutely right — 200 keyword limit is restrictive for power users. Honestly, I was skeptical at first with Semdash. I've tried many SEO tools over the years and have always been on the lookout for something easy to use that actually helps improve rankings.
